TEHRAN – The Armenian ambassador to Tehran has hailed the growing relations between Tehran and Yerevan, saying his country views its ties with the Islamic Republic as a foreign policy priority.

For nearly 27 years, Armenia, as an independent state, has had bilateral ties with Iran, Ambassador Artashes Tumanyan said, Tasnim reported on Monday.

The Armenian envoy further said that in recent years, political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries have developed satisfactorily, emphasizing that the ties would not be affected by the will of a third country
